Here’s how to properly get dropped off and picked up from Minnetonka Middle School East if you are not using the bus or walking. Please for the safety of students, staff, and other drivers be patient and cautious during both drop-off and pick-up. School starts at 9:20 a.m. and ends at 4:00 pm. Please take a moment to review the video as this information is critical to establishing a smooth and efficient transition into the school day.

Drop-off

When dropping off your student(s) before school, we ask that you use the back entrance of the school. Staff will direct cars down one of two paths with the goal of getting as many cars into our parking lot as possible. Using the following image as a reference.

Staff will direct cars to follow the yellow lines (curb drop-off). Before allowing students to leave your vehicle, we ask that you continue to move forward until there are no open spaces in front of you.

Pick-Up

Our primary pick up location is the back entrance of the school. Please do NOT park in the neighborhoods by our school to pick up students.

If you are planning on picking up your student after school, staff will instruct you where to pull up and stop to wait for your student. If the spaces in front of you open up while waiting for your student, please pull forward to make room for other cars to wait.

Early Pick-Up

During the school day, you will pick up your student at the Main Entrance. You can park in the front circle until 3:30pm. After that time, you will need to park in the lot so we can leave the front circle open for our buses.

If you need to pick your student up before the end of the school day, please enter the information into Skyward by 11am. Your student will then be able to check out in the attendance office and meet you outside.

If you are unable to enter the information in Skyward before 11am, you will need to park and then come into the school to check out your student. We will call them out of class once you have arrived.
