We Day

In keeping with our District mission of ensuring all students envision and pursue their highest aspirations while serving the greater good, we are excited to partner with Free the Children to offer a remarkable program called WE Schools in our middle schools and high school.

To be eligible for WE Day tickets, students in grades 7-12 must have completed both a local and global service project either in school our outside of school during the 2016–17 school year, including the summer of 2017. Priority will be given to students who are active members of a school-based service club, recipients of the President’s Volunteer Service Award and/or a Varsity Letter in Community Service (MHS only).

The deadline to apply for WE Day tickets is Oct. 9, 2017.

WE Day is a powerful, life-changing event that combines the energy of a live concert with the inspiration of extraordinary stories of leadership and change. WE Day brings together world-renowned speakers and award-winning performers with tens of thousands of young people to celebrate their contributions and kick-start another year of change.

Over the last nine years, WE Day has evolved into a series of stadium-sized events held across Canada, the United States and the UK. This past year, 200,000 students attended WE Day and left inspired to create change at local and global levels.

WE Day Minnesota will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2017 at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul. For more information, visit the We Day website.
