Blue Jay Publishing: Your child can become an author!

Excelsior Elementary is excited to announce Blue Jay Publishing. Our mission is to provide students in 3rd through 5th grade the opportunity to write stories outside of the school day, which are above and beyond the classroom curriculum/assignments.

Books for Bikes

Excelsior Elementary School has partnered with the Excelsior Masonic Lodge to challenge young readers. Students that meet their monthly reading goal are entered into a monthly drawing to win a gift card. In addition, at the end of the year all those students that meet their monthly reading goals are also entered in the drawing for a bike.

Chinese New Year 2018: Year of the Dog

Excelsior Elementary is getting ready to celebrate Chinese New Year in February! Our celebration will kick-off with performances for all grades during the school day on Friday, February 16th by the School of Shaolin. The following week, look for decorations, contests, and other activities happening around school. Please consider signing up to help our school celebrate this important Chinese festival!

XY Club

The XY Club is a male volunteer program open to any male connected to a student at Excelsior Elementary (Dad, Grandpa, Uncle, Special Friend, etc). These individuals get involved with things such as: Donuts with Dads, recess monitors, lunchroom monitors, Daddy Daughter Dance, and other PTO activities.
