Rock Your Socks - World Down Syndrome Day

Mark your calendars, and join in as we wear mismatched "crazy socks" on Friday, March 19th to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day (world celebration on March 21st)! The date (3-21) represents Trisomy 21 (the medical term for Down Syndrome), which is a third copy of the 21st chromosome. The ‘Rock Your Socks’ initiative was formed to get people talking and asking questions about Down Syndrome. So grab your wackiest socks and join us as we celebrate the acceptance, respect, and inclusion of individuals with Down Syndrome!

World Culture Week

This year, World Culture Week is scheduled for April 19-23, and the country we will be exploring is Japan! We will have a virtual experience exploring some of the cultural aspects of Japanese food, geography, architecture, and sports, including the upcoming Summer Olympics being held in Tokyo, currently scheduled to begin July 23. Stay tuned for more information!
