For its second year now, the Read-A-Thon event has been Deephaven Elementary's biggest fundraiser. Over the course of just 24 days, students at Deephaven read 346,918 minutes and raised just over $37,000. Congratulations to all students and staff who participated in this year's Read-A-Thon fundraiser!

Minnetonka Public Schools is taking a stand to protect children. Beginning last spring and continuing throughout the 2018-19 school year, the district has embraced a new program that empowers kids as early as Kindergarten with information to help keep them safer.
The National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) Foundation awarded Minnetonka Public Schools its coveted Best Communities for Music Education Award. This is Minnetonka's 6th consecutive time being recognized!
Nominations are open for the annual Awards for Child-Centered Excellence. You are invited to nominate an outstanding educator, staff member or volunteer who is contributing to excellence in our district. Nominations must be submitted by March 1.
Third graders at Deephaven Elementary had the opportunity to participate in an Ellis Island Simulation and learn what it was like to be an immigrant.
On Sunday, November 11th, people all around the country joined together to thank veterans who have served our country and to remember those whose lives who were lost. Minnetonka was proud to host a variety a Veterans Day ceremonies around the district, including events at the elementary, middle and high schools.
