Jeremy Johnson is an experienced education professional celebrating his 17th year with Minnetonka Schools. He currently oversees the kindergarten through 5th grade Explorers childcare program. With a strong background in youth recreation program management and a passion for creating engaging experiences for students, Jeremy has dedicated his career to helping children thrive both academically and socially.

Before taking on his current role, Jeremy worked as an Explorers Site Supervisor at Groveland Elementary for three years, where he developed valuable skills in leadership, communication, and collaboration. His role as an Explorers Site Supervisor led him to receive recognition in child-centered excellence at the 2018 Minnetonka Public Schools Celebration of Excellence Awards. He then went on to serve as a Youth Recreation Program Manager for three years, overseeing a large portfolio of programs including basketball, volleyball, dance, gymnastics and many high school club sports along with important work on many large-scale community education events.

Throughout his career, Jeremy has demonstrated a commitment to programming that allows students to be active and engaged, while also fostering a strong sense of community. He believes that building positive relationships with students, parents, and staff is essential to creating a supportive and engaging environment where everyone can thrive.

Jeremy graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Business Administration split between time at Minnesota State University Mankato and Liberty University and has continued to expand his professional knowledge through certification as a Program Planner through the LERN organization. With a strong background in education, a deep understanding of programming, and a passion for creating inclusive environments, Jeremy is a highly effective leader who is dedicated to helping students achieve their full potential.
