Minnetonka Indian Education Program

The Minnetonka Indian Education Program serves American Indian students by supporting their academic careers and fostering an appreciation of their history and culture.

The mission of the Minnetonka Public Schools American Indian education is to help students acquire the knowledge, strategies, attitudes and skills that will lead to them to realize their goals and potential. We aim to equip our students with the ability to meet the challenges in their present and prepare for those in the future. Our students learn about the responsibilities that are built into our indigenous teachings and knowledge.

The Indian Education Program, which is state funded, is committed to working together with parents and families to meet the unique educational and cultural needs of American Indian students.
