Parent Leadership Series
December 7, 2024
Many of us parents are finding that our children are struggling with anxiety, attending school, or other challenges. This can cause us to feel overwhelmed and experience a great deal of frustration. In this presentation, we will provide practical tools for parents to take a deeper look at what’s happening for their child(ren), provide tools for parents to lead their anxious child(ren), and empower them to overcome their anxiety, go back to school, and face their challenges. Learning Objectives:
- Understanding the nature of your child’s struggle
- Key functions of leadership and practical ways to lead anxious or distressed children out of their struggle
- Strategies for adjusting how we accommodate children’s discomfort that can lead to empowerment and more success.
- Skills to assess whether or not your child’s distress is a result of discomfort or is a safety
