Join the Minnetonka Alumni Association on Saturday, July 27, 2024, from 4-10 p.m. in Downtown Excelsior for a day filled with fun, friendship and fantastic food at the All-Class All-Friends Reunion! This event is free and open to all alumni, families, teachers, staff and friends of Minnetonka Public Schools.
The first All-School All-Class Reunion (as it was called at the time) was held in July 2002 to honor the 50th anniversary of Minnetonka High School. It brought more than 3,000 alumni together to celebrate the school community and raise money for a Fine Arts Endowment. The event was so successful in both building community and raising money to support the District that the Minnetonka Alumni Association decided to hold one every four years. Unfortunately, the 2022 reunion was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. With that in mind, rebuilding alumni and community connections and re-engaging in fundraising to support future Skippers is more important this year than ever before.
The Minnetonka Alumni Association, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is dedicated to supporting Minnetonka Public Schools and the alumni community. Funds raised at the All-Class All-Friends Reunion will be used to:
- Support the Minnetonka Public Schools Foundation Teacher Grant program in the areas of fine arts, science & technology and student well-being.
- Hold future community-wide events, such as the annual Minnetonka Alumni Awards brunch.
By attending, you help to ensure continued excellence within the Minnetonka Public School District and the broader alumni community. Together, you can make a significant impact for Minnetonka alumni and future generations of Skippers!
