Explorers Registration Task Force
With growing demand for Explorers childcare, Minnetonka Community Education is reviewing its current registration practices. At this time, we cannot fully meet the demand for childcare. Our current model is a first-come, first-served system, with enrollment determined by staffing capacity.
We know how important childcare is in the lives of families and want to engage our community in accessing the registration process for the upcoming school year.
Task Force Work
The Explorers Registration Task Force was created to review the current registration process, identify challenges and develop options and recommendations. From late September through early December, the group met to study the process, discuss challenges, provide feedback and create recommendations to help guide registration for the 2026–27 school year.
