April 3, 2023

Due to construction, the 48-mile ride has now been updated to a 47-mile ride. This ride has 1.5 miles of paved trail, .5 mile of limestone trail and 45 miles on paved road. Note: this includes going through Excelsior. There are gently rolling hills along the way, and a few more challenging hills. Light training is required for this ride. Ideal for newer riders, who are looking for a challenge You can view the updated map here. View the Ride with GPS map and cue sheet here.

Tour de Tonka Thanks Ron Kamps

March 5, 2023
Please help us honor Ron Kamps, who sadly recently passed away. Ron was part of MCE in many ways, including being a member of the Tour de Tonka committee (which he joined in 2006 when the event began). He represented the ICA Food Shelf at the Tour de Tonka event each year. Ron was a friendly, kind and generous volunteer, MCE advocate, Minnetonka Schools advocate and a dear friend.
The 2023 Tour de Tonka volunteer shirt will call out and rightfully recognize this great man, Ron Kamps. He will be so greatly missed.
