For students in grades K-5. Run the trails and hills in this exciting, cross country mile set on the beautiful campus of Minnetonka Community Education Center and Deephaven Elementary.

Click here to register for the Tonka Trail Trot. Online registration will close at 8 AM on Wednesday, May 6. Participants who miss the online deadline can still register in person on race day. Same-day registration will be available starting at 5 PM outside on the MCEC/Deephaven Elementary campus.

Event Day Information

The run will take place at the Minnetonka Community Education Center and Deephaven Elementary. Participants should park on the MCEC and Deephaven Elementary campus, please note that there is no parking on Vine Hill Road. Check-in will be open from 5:25–5:45 PM, with the first heat beginning promptly at 6 PM. Runners will be assigned to one of five heats based on grade level, and heat lists will be posted near the start line. The one-mile route will be staffed for safety. There will be a race clock at the finish line so runners can see their time; however, individual chip timing will not be provided. Spectators are welcome to cheer from designated viewing areas near the start and finish lines, but we ask that everyone remain out of the wooded course area for safety.
