COVID Response Plan
In accordance with MDH guidelines, the Fall de Tonka COVID response plan is posted and available to read on our website here. All riders, staff, and volunteers will be asked to complete our COVID Screening Form the morning of the ride. You may download and print it here; there will also be copies available at the COVID screening tent. The ride is limited to 250 people inclusive of onsite staff and volunteers at MCEC with a max number of 225 riders. Strict temperature taking, social distancing and mask protocols will be in place. Please read the details below.

Packet Pick Up
Rider packet-pick up will be available Friday, September 25, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. as well as the morning of the ride, Sunday, September 27, from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. in an effort to spread out participant arrival and provide for appropriate social distancing in our lobby area at MCEC. We also ask that participants send only one member of the household to pick up packets for the group when possible. There will be no same-day registration. The ride is sold out.

Parking/Check-in Procedures
All riders, no exceptions, must first go to the COVID Screening Station after they park. The station will be located in a tent outside the main entrance (Door 1E). Once you have turned in your screening form, had your temperature taken and received your wristband, you may return to your car to get your bike, enter the building for the apparel sale and to pick up your rider packet, or proceed to the bike corral. Carpooling is discouraged to and from the event with anyone outside of your household. If you ride your bike to the event you will be asked to park your bike outside the bike corral before going to the bike corral or the COVID screening tent.

Screening & Wristband
MCE will require all riders, employees, volunteers and guests to complete a self-screening form and have their temperature checked the morning of the event at the screening tent. All riders, volunteers, staff and vendors must have a wristband on in order to enter the bike corral and participate in, or work at this event. No exceptions. The wristband is only given out after you pass the mandatory temperature screening.

Bike Corral
Riders - please do not mix between household groups when in the bike corral or at rest stops. Social distance markings and signage will be provided in the bike corral, indoors at MCEC and at rest stops. Individuals will be asked to stay at least 6 feet apart to abide by MDH guidelines. Face coverings are required at all times with the exception of actively eating, drinking or riding a bike. We will start the event in various phases, metering riders out of the bike corral in waves. MCE will line up riders, by signs and by announcements, the self-identified faster riders first for each distance and the self-identified slower riders second. We will also be metering riders in and out of rest stops to prevent congregating. No more than 25 riders at a time in rest stops.Thank you in advance for your patience. Safety first!
