Tuition assistance is available for qualifying families through the State of Minnesota’s School Readiness Program. The purpose of the School Readiness Program is to help provide financial assistance to families in need so that their children can participate in preschool and can be exposed to the experiences, skills, and behaviors necessary for future learning. Additionally, a priority of school readiness is to increase parental involvement in their child’s learning and education.

Research has shown that early childhood programs that involve parents and children working together are more effective than programs that only focus on the child. Involving families early encourages parents to play a more active role throughout their child’s education.

• Drop off at the Minnetonka Community Education Center front desk

Your completed application will be reviewed in the order it is received. If you are eligible for assistance, you will be contacted to meet with the School Readiness Coordinator to enroll your child in Minnetonka Preschool and complete your tuition agreement.
