Ben MacLean serves as the Recreation Coordinator for Minnetonka Community Education, providing leadership for the district’s recreation activities and program management team. He oversees the development and implementation of a wide range of youth and adult recreation programs and serves as a member of the MCE Leadership Team.

Ben brings over 20 years of coaching experience and a decade of executive leadership in youth athletics. Most recently, he served as the Executive Director of Homegrown Lacrosse, where he led large-scale community programming and organizational growth. Prior to that, he spent 10 years at Dow Chemical in engineering and technical leadership roles.

Ben earned his Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing Engineering and Technology from Minnesota State University, Mankato.

Ben lives in Minneapolis with his wife, Janelle, and their daughter, Logan. He enjoys coaching, spending time outdoors, and being active in the community, and looks forward to contributing to the Minnetonka community.
