Allyssa Peak

Allyssa Peak is the Adult Programs Manager for Minnetonka Community Education. She has a passion for community education and lifelong learning. Allyssa oversees adult enrichment and recreation programming as well as Babysitter Training and Alone at Home classes.

Allyssa holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities in Plant Science with minors in Agronomy and Sustainable Agriculture Systems and a master’s degree from Iowa State University in Agriculture Education with an emphasis on Extension Education. Allyssa is also a certified Service-Learning Instructional Leader through the National Youth Leadership Council.

Before joining Minnetonka Community Education, Allyssa was the 4-H & Youth Development Extension Agent for Montana State University Extension – Cascade County in Great Falls, Montana where she gained knowledge in the areas of program management, program implementation, volunteer management and youth development principles.

In her free time, Allyssa loves spending time with her husband and son walking the many trails in the metro area, visiting family back in Wisconsin, and practicing her lifelong hobby, cross stitching.
