Alex Fairfield-Johnson
Alex is responsible for various recreation programs including archery, run club, 1st - 5th grade boys’ basketball, the BWCA trip, service-learning classes, track & field league, climbing camps, improv, and Quest. He serves as the co-chair for the Youth Development Council and helps plan and execute various YDC events throughout the year.
Alex received his bachelor’s degree in Sport Management as well as a master’s degree in Youth Development Leadership at the University of Minnesota. During that time, he had the privilege of working for the Minnesota Timberwolves, Minnesota Lynx, Minnesota United and Gopher Athletics. During Gopher football season, he still serves as the visiting team liaison, making sure each team has a positive experience while at the stadium. Alex has worked in various school-age and recreation settings and has ten years of work experience with youth.
In his free time, Alex enjoys traveling internationally, spending time outdoors, hanging out with friends, watching/playing sports, and experiencing new experiences. He loves being part of the Minnetonka community and is always happy to serve as a resource for anyone in need of support or guidance.
