Special Diets & Allergies

Under our USDA guidance, Nutrition Services is required to provide accommodations for a dietary restriction due to a medical condition or food allergy.

Requesting Special Diet Accommodations

If you have a dietary restriction due to a medical condition or food allergy that requires a modification to the school meal, please contact us via email. We will provide you with a Special Diet Statement requesting more information on accommodating this medical need that will need to be completed by a medical professional (Physician, Physician's Assistant or Advanced Practice Nurse, such as a nurse practitioner). We are unable to accept forms signed by Chiropractors or Health Coaches.

We will provide menu substitutions when medically necessary. Medically necessary as affecting one or more major life activities or bodily functions including digestive functions, immune system and neurological functions. 

Lactose Intolerance

For students who are lactose intolerant, families can request a lactose-reduced milk with a written request. This request does not require a Medical Professional's signature. Please send request for lactose -reduced milk to:
