Minnetonka Public Schools Earn Readers' Choice Awards

Congratulations to Minnetonka High School, Excelsior Elementary and Groveland Elementary! They received the Sun Newspaper's 2019 Readers' Choice Award for Best Public School in Deephaven, Best Public School in Excelsior and Best Public School in Wayzata, respectively!

Congratulations are in order, too, for Principal Jeff Erickson and Kimberly Olsen, who readers named Best Principal and Best Teacher in Excelsior. Now retired Groveland Principal Dave Parker also received the Readers' Choice Award for Best Principal in Wayzata.

3rd Annual "We Are One" Football Camp

The third annual "We Are One" football camp welcomed more than 50 students with special needs from grades 3-12 to the high school football field for an evening of fun and connection.

This past school year, fifth grade band students from Clear Springs had the opportunity to expand their musical education by learning a new type of music called gahu, a social dance from southeastern Ghana.
