Joel

Joel Ash and his wife Shannon love to cook. Last spring they decided to expand their horizons and try a new cooking style. Authentic Chinese Cooking at Home was a perfect fit.

Joel feels the best part of the class was the ability to ask questions from someone with experience. "There are a lot of instructions online," Joel says, "but hands-on practice next to an experienced person made a world of difference." Joel says he learned that making dumplings, for example, is harder than he expected, but very rewarding.

Joel and Shannon look forward to applying their new Chinese cooking skills at home, and plan to take more cooking classes in the future, along with cultivating

some of their other hobbies through Minnetonka Community Education.
