Celebrating Bus Drivers

From October 11-15, Minnetonka Public Schools is celebrating Bus Driver Appreciation Week. By helping students get safely to and from school each day, they serve a crucial role in the District.

“Bus drivers are often the first staff members students see in the morning, and they can set the tone for the day,” said Michelle Ketchum, the Supervisor of Student Accounting & Transportation. “They are reliable figures students can count on each day to get them to and from school.”

Bus drivers play an active role each day in contributing to a positive school community, and they deserve much appreciation and gratitude.

The Minnetonka Schools community is so thankful for our bus drivers, the District transportation team and their dedication to serving students and families. This week, make sure to thank your bus driver for all of their hard work!
