Minnetonka Legacy Project
Our students continually step up and lead at Minnetonka HS. Their work is making a difference in our community as well beyond Minnetonka. The Minnetonka Legacy Project is a four-year service project at MHS; each grade chooses a cause in which they make a difference throughout their time at the high school. The end goal is for each class to be able to look back on the legacy that they have left in the local community and beyond.
Here is a summary of each grade level’s project:
- Class of 2022 has chosen to raise awareness for issues concerning the environment. For those interested in joining, the Schoology Code is MNBR3-WJBT8.
- Class of 2023 has chosen to raise awareness of social justice issues that include food insecurity and housing instability. For those interested in joining, the Schoology Code is 9QF5X-9TCWP
- Class of 2024 has chosen to raise awareness of social justice issues towards minority groups. For those interested in joining, the Schoology Code is GMPT-8GVC-MKPGM. For more information click here.
- Class of 2025 will be determining their cause when school resumes in September. Freshmen are welcome to join Legacy 2025 to help brainstorm and give feedback on ideas. Schoology group information will be delivered to students in the fall.
Watch for information in late October about Legacy Week, scheduled for November 2021. ALL Legacy groups will be raising awareness and funds for their causes!
