Hope House
Opened in 2015, ​Hope House is a six-bed, short-term emergency shelter for youth ages 14 –19 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.  Located in Excelsior, Hope House is the only youth shelter located West of Highway 100 in the Greater Twin Cities. A comfortable, 2-story residential home where all youth are welcome, Hope House aims to help youth from the southwest suburbs and surrounding communities.

The Marie Sandvik Center is a Christian based 501(c)3 non-profit charitable organization providing for the material and spiritual needs of the poor living in the inner city. Volunteers needed to serve meals, donate clothing and supervise children’s programs.

Sharing and Caring Hands and Mary’s Place

Provides emergency housing, meals and services for families experiencing homelessness. Volunteers prepare and serve meals, organize drives for food and supplies and work as child care helpers at Mary's Place Transitional Housing.

WeCAN is a community nonprofit that provides support services to individuals and families to reach stability and self-sufficiency. Volunteers assist with projects at our facility in Mound, conduct donation drives, and assist at special events.
