Course Description: Online Wellness creates an opportunity for students to extend their learning around a school-sponsored sport or lifetime fitness activity outside of school. Students will use a Fitbit to track their physical activity; students will be expected to complete 12,000 steps per day on school days for fall and spring semester courses and 15,000 steps per day on five days of the week for the summer semester course. Students will achieve a higher level of health literacy focusing on individual wellness.
