Registration

Online registration for the school year opens in February of the prior year. Online registration for the 2017-18 school year opens on February 4, 2017 at 8 a.m. We are still accepting applications for our current school year, however enrollment is limited. If you need registration assistance, our staff is available to assist you at the Minnetonka Community Education Center or by calling 952-401-6812.

You must have a *Eleyo account for yourself and a profile for the child/children you wish to register, prior to enrolling in Minnetonka Preschool, ECFE, Junior Explorers or other MCE activities.

Use the tabs below for step-by-step registration instructions. You will need:

  1. Have on hand: Physician and clinic information, birth certificate, health history, medication information and emergency contact information
  2. Set-up a Eleyo account and profile
  3. Register

Prepare for registration

For new families: Create a Eleyo account and profiles for your family. PLEASE NOTE: You must have an account for yourself and a profile for the child you wish to register prior to enrolling in Minnetonka Preschool, ECFE, Junior Explorers or MCE activities.

For returning families: Log in to your Eleyo account and check to make sure your family's information is current and that all family members have a profile created. If you forgot your password and need to reset it, please click here.

  • When you register, please have physician and clinic information, health history, medication information and emergency contact information readily available. This information is required to complete registration for Minnetonka Preschool and Junior Explorers, and will not carry over from the previous year's registration form.
  • The registration process will take approximately 20 minutes to complete for each program/child. Please have physician and clinic information, health history, medication information and emergency contact information available. This information is required on Minnetonka Preschool and Junior Explorers Club registration forms.
  • A non-refundable registration fee of $75 for the first child, and $60 for the second child (if applicable), along with the first month's tuition (also non-refundable) are due at the time of registration.
  • After you submit your registration, you will receive a confirmation email from Minnetonka Community Education confirming receipt of your registration and additional information.
  • Junior Explorers: After you submit your registration for Junior Explorers you will receive an email with the subject Your Explorers Club Childcare Contract Request. Once your contract has been approved, typically within three business days of the request, you will receive two follow-up emails notifying you that your contract has been approved and that your registration fee payment has been accepted.

Eleyo

How to create a *Eleyo account and profiles

You must have an account for yourself and a profile for the child you wish to register, prior to enrolling in Minnetonka Preschool, ECFE, Junior Explorers or MCE activities.

Create a ELEYO Account for yourself
  1. Visit Eleyo.
  2. Click Sign Up in the upper right corner of the screen to register a new Eleyo Account.
  3. Complete the Register New Account form. Remember, the account should be created in your name.
  4. Click Create Account at the bottom of the screen to save your information. You will be directed to your Account Profile after a few moments.
  5. After you create your account, Eleyo will send you an email requesting you verify your email address. Please follow the steps in the email to verify your email address.
Add a child and/or spouse to your Eleyo
  1. Access your account by clicking your name in the upper right corner of the screen. From the drop-down menu, select Account Profile.
  2. Click Add Family Member / Relationship to add a child to your profile.
  3. Complete the Add a New Person form. In the grade field, please select the year your child will be entering kindergarten. In the school field, please select the school your child will attend. If you aren’t certain of either the school or the year, please leave the fields blank. PLEASE NOTE: Under the District Information section, please select No, They Do Not Have A District ID.
  4. Click Create Person at the bottom of the screen to save your information. You will be directed to your Account Profile after a few moments.
  5. Click Emergency Contacts under each child’s name and provide information for at least three emergency contacts. This emergency contact information will be used for all Minnetonka Community Education programs in which your child participates (including Minnetonka Preschool and Junior Explorers).

Preschool

Minnetonka Preschool and ECFE registration instructions

  1. Visit FeePay
  2. If you have not yet created a FeePay account for yourself and profiles for your family members, please do so now. Click the FeePay tab above and follow the instructions, then procede to step 3 below. If you have already created a FeePay account and profiles, proceed to step 3 now.
  3. From FeePay, click Browse All Programs. If you are registering for Minnetonka Preschool, hover over Minnetonka Preschool and select the class for which you would like to register. If you are registering for ECFE, hover over ECFE and select the class for which you would like to register.
  4. Click the title of the class for which you would like to register.
  5. Select the section you would like to register for by clicking Add to Cart. Please Note: The fee listed directly below the Add to Cart button includes the first month’s tuition and annual registration fee, which are both non-refundable and due at the time of registration. The annual registration fee for Minnetonka Preschool is $75.00 for the first child and $60 for the second child. The $15 discount will be applied to your cart during checkout.
  6. Please click the button next the child’s name you would like to register, then click Enroll. Please Note: If your child’s name does not appear, you need to go back to step #2 and add a profile for your child.
  7. Read the Terms & Conditions, check the box if you agree and then click Continue.
  8. Answer all of the questions on the following screen. Most questions are required, so if the question does not apply to your child, type N/A in the box. Once you are done answering questions, click Answer and Enroll People at the bottom of the screen. Please Note: If you are registering for Minnetonka Preschool, please disregard the first statement at the top of the page (Select any adults attending with). This box only applies to families registering for ECFE.
  9. If you wish to register for Lunch Bunch, Sibling Care, Science Discovery, Concordia Language Immersion MCE Activities, or ECFE please repeat Steps 3-7 above. If you are registering for Junior Explorers, please complete steps 10-12 below.
  10. If you are ready to check out, click Cart and then select Checkout.
  11. Select your payment method and complete the required fields, then click Process Payment.
  12. After you submit your registration for Minnetonka Preschool, ECFE and/or MCE activities, you will receive a confirmation email from Minnetonka Community Education confirming receipt of your registration.

Jr. Explorers

Junior Explorers registration instructions

  1. Visit FeePay.
  2. If you have not yet created a FeePay account for yourself and profiles for your family members, please do so now. Click the FeePay tab above and follow the instructions, then proceed to step 3 below. If you have already created a FeePay account and profiles, proceed to step 3 now.
  3. Log in to your FeePay account click Browse all Programs.
  4. Hover over Explorers Club Childcare. Click Registration and log in.
  5. Select School Year 16-17 from Season drop down menu. The drop down menu is located immediately underneath the box containing the program fees.
  6. Select the location and age for which you would like to register. Click Continue. Please Note: If your child is also attending Minnetonka Preschool, please select MCEC Jr. 3's, Also Attending Minnetonka Preschool or MCEC Jr. 4's, Also Attending Minnetonka Preschool.
  7. Read the Terms & Conditions, check the box if you agree and then click Accept Terms and Continue.
  8. Enter your payment method.
  9. Click Save Payment Method and Continue.
  10. Select the child attending. This question is located directly under the box that lists Explorers Club fees. Select the first and last day your child requires care.
  11. Select the program option and days of the week your child will be attending Junior Explorers. You must select a minimum of two days of care.
  12. Answer all questions. Click Complete Registration.
  13. After you submit your registration for Junior Explorers you will receive an email with the subject Your Explorers Club Childcare Contract Request. Once your contract has been approved, typically within three business days of the request, you will receive two follow-up emails notifying you that your contract has been approved and that your registration fee payment has been accepted.

2017-18 Tuition

Tuition is billed on a monthly basis from September-June. A non-refundable registration fee of $75 for the first child, and $60 for the second child (if applicable), along with the first month’s tuition (also non-refundable) are due at the time of registration. Income-based tuition assistance is available. Please call 952-401-6812 to apply.
