Whether you are registering your first child in Kindergarten, or transferring an entire family across the country, we want to make sure the process is as easy as possible. The Minnetonka Public School District is one of the best performing school districts in Minnesota and the nation. We serve more than 10,000 students in grades K-12. Our students attend one of six elementary schools (grades K-5), two middle schools (grades 6-8) and one high school (grades 9-12).

With innovative high achievement programs and extensive supports, we ensure success for each student:

  • English, Chinese and Spanish Immersion options in grades K-12
  • Personalized, child-centered education provides each student with 1-to-1 guidance and support
  • Challenging learning experiences such as Navigator, Wings, accelerated math and reading help students unlock their potential to excel
  • Focus on technology literacy includes K-5 computer coding and 1:1 iPads in grades 5-12

Resident Families

K-12 registration for 2018 is currently open for all residents.

The priority deadline for resident registration is January 25.

First-choice schools or programs may be filled past the priority deadline.

K-12 open enrollment applications are currently being accepted for all out of district families.

The state deadline for open enrollment applications is January 15.

Late applications will be accepted as space allows past the state deadline.

Preschool Options

If your child is not yet school-age, please consider our Minnetonka Preschool and Early Childhood options provided through our Community Education department. You can also contact our enrollment office with your child's name and date of birth; this will ensure you receive future enrollment information.
