WE Day

In keeping with Minnetonka’s mission of ensuring all students envision and pursue their highest aspirations while serving the greater good, Minnetonka Public Schools is excited to partner with Free the Children to offer a remarkable program called WE Schools in our middle schools and high school.

Through WE Schools, students in grades 7–12 who complete one local and one global action or service project in support of any issue or organization are eligible to apply for tickets to WE Day. The deadline to apply for WE Day tickets is Sept. 9, 2016.

WE Day is a powerful, life-changing event that combines the energy of a live concert with the inspiration of extraordinary stories of leadership and change. WE Day brings together world-renowned speakers and award-winning performers with tens of thousands of young people to celebrate their contributions and kick-start another year of change.

Over the last eight years, WE Day has evolved into a series of 14 stadium-sized events held across Canada, the United States and the UK. This past year, 200,000 students attended WE Day and left inspired to create change at local and global levels.

WE Day Minnesota will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2016 at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul. For more information, visit http://www.weday.com/
