A nonprofit, multi-service organization serving children, families, adults and senior citizens who reside in Eden Prairie and Chanhassen. Volunteers are needed to sort donations and stock shelves in the food pantry, work in the office and help with special projects.

Resource Center for families in need in the western suburbs. Need groups and individuals to help with drives for Back to School, Winter Warm Wear, Toy Chest, Empty Bowls fundraiser and more.

Provide emergency housing, meals and services for families experiencing homelessness. Volunteers prepare meals and organize drives for food and supplies. Need child care helpers at Mary’s Place daily. Individuals and groups welcome.

People Serving People provides emergency housing and community services that assist families experiencing homelessness in becoming self-sufficient and reconnected with the community. Volunteers needed to serve meals, plan events for children, and special projects.

Shelter for victims of domestic abuse and their children. Individuals needed to provide child care during evening meetings, training provided. Groups needed for special projects and to do drives for items in demand.

 

Tour de Tonka

 

Tonka Youth Triathlon
This great community run, bike and swim event is open to all boys and girls in grades 2-8. the race takes place the first Saturday in May at Minnetonka Middle School East.

The RAK stores and warehouses, provide high quality furniture, clothing, shoes, books, toys, and household decor. Volunteers can staff the stores and help sort items in their warehouses.

MoveFwd
MoveFwd (formerly Teens Alone) is here to serve young people and their families. They offer barrier-free therapy to youth and families, housing assistance to young people experiencing or at risk for homelessness, and training for young people who are learning to live on their own. They also have a drop-in center at Eisenhower Community Center for young people 15-24.
