English as a Second Language (ESL)

For students whose first language is not English, our ESL/ELL program provides a great foundation for transition into our mainstream programs. Focus areas include:

  • English: basics of speaking, conversation, listening, reading and writing in English; comprehension; vocabulary and grammar
  • Science/Math: basic vocabulary and concepts of science and math in English
  • Social Studies/Reading: basic vocabulary and concepts of social studies and reading in English
